Owner, Lead Writer - Ellerina Trifiletti, BSN MBA

Ellerina is a Bachelor's prepared Registered Nurse licensed to practice in New York State. Her clinical experience includes elder care in acute and subacute long term care settings and collaboration with both inpatient and outpatient care. She has served as a medical-surgical float pool nurse and served as triage, on-call and supervisory roles. Her most recent roles include Forensic Nurse Examiner and teaching adult learners in nursing education.

Ellerina has managed large and small groups of licensed professionals in the primary care, urgent care and hospice care settings. Her project management experience extends across specialties and transcends hierarchies within the medical industry lasting through the COVID-19 pandemic in the supply chain realm.

She has served as an educator in teaching patients and families at the bedside and annual competency to staff for clinical practice. Although as she would tell it, she would have never thought she would have found herself in the education field, her academic career began at the College of Saint Rose in that very area. Despite taking a detour into business and then subsequently into nursing, Ellerina has found herself overseeing both clinical and curriculum for practical nursing. Today, teaching in the clinical setting and in the classroom is most fulfilling, second only to her roles as a home hospice nurse and forensic nurse examiner.
